Currently, with the accelerated development of computing infrastructure and high-speed connectivity, the application of high-speed copper cables in AI data centers and high-speed internet networks is becoming increasingly important and attracting attention, becoming a hot topic in the industry and a hot topic in society. On August 14, based on industry development needs and enterprise demands and suggestions, the Suzhou Optoelectronic Industry Chamber of Commerce successfully held the “Seminar on Innovative Development and Market Trends of High-Speed Copper Cables.”
The event theme is “High-Speed Interconnection, Cables Connect the World.” It is hosted by the Suzhou Optoelectronic Industry Chamber of Commerce, Suzhou Optoelectronic Communication Association, Yangtze River Delta Optoelectronics Industry Quality Development Center, and Yangtze River Delta Electronic Cable Industry Alliance, with co-organizers from Suzhou Jingyingda Automation Technology Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Jingying Intelligent Equipment Technology Co., Ltd.

Feng Feng, Executive Secretary-General of the Suzhou Optoelectronic Industry Chamber of Commerce, presided over the event and introduced the Chamber’s work and achievements since its establishment in 2011 in building platforms, industry empowerment, enterprise services, event development, and ecosystem construction in the cable industry such as optical fiber, cable, wire and cable, and electronic cable harnesses, conveying the current situation in the high-speed copper cable sector. Zhang Hui, General Manager of Suzhou Jingying Da Automation Technology Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Jingying Intelligent Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., delivered speeches and industry exchanges, while partner He Wencuan introduced the company and exchanged high-speed copper cable technology and market information.
In addition, more than 30 company leaders and representatives from China Inspection Jiangsu, Youer, Tongding, Zhongli, Zhongtian, Shenyu, Jianxun, Dingxin, Haitang, Bomailicheng, Yieryi, Donghu, Weiersi, Nuokwei, Rende, Daotong, Xinghongmeng, Feyman, Fortai, Huiji, Guocai, Tailida, Qishuo, Zhanteng, Yingshi, and Boyue attended the event for on-site exchanges. The conference also featured interactive discussions on the theme with industry companies such as Hengtong Cable, Yongding, Xinya, Leting, Anlan Markham, Zhaolong, Huaxun, and Qinghong.

At the meeting, everyone systematically learned about the development, development, and industry services of the Suzhou Optoelectronic Industry Chamber of Commerce, Suzhou Optoelectronic Communications Association, Yangtze River Delta Optoelectronics Industry Quality Development Center, and Yangtze River Delta Electronic Cable Industry Alliance, as well as the industry organizations’ coverage of high-speed copper cables, electronic cable harnesses, and connectors in Suzhou and surrounding areas.
Participants also suggested that as an industry organization in the Yangtze River Delta covering the entire optoelectronic and electronic cable and harness industry chain and supply chain, the Suzhou Optoelectronic Industry Chamber of Commerce should further play a constructive and innovative role in gathering enterprises in the high-speed copper cable sector, industry interaction, conference activities, industry development leadership, and service platform building, further empowering and promoting the healthy and orderly development of the high-speed copper cable sector in the region.

The meeting focused on open on-site interaction. In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, everyone freely expressed their views and voices on the development and trends of high-speed copper cables, reaching many consensuses and voices. The Chamber Secretariat carefully recorded, organized, and responded to the meeting, forming a summary of the meeting.
The conference affirmed the vigorous development of high-speed copper cable over the past year, bringing great benefits and new development opportunities to the cable industry, and creating a favorable ecological atmosphere of “light and copper advancing together.” Currently, high-speed copper cables are gradually at the peak of hotspots, the market is showing signs of overheating, market applications and material supply are tilting toward leading companies, the industry landscape is basically set, and latecomers and newcomers in this field face increasing survival and competitive pressures, while “involution” is accelerating.
The meeting generally agreed that, due to constraints in the supply and pricing of materials for high-speed copper cable production and domestic equipment, SMEs should focus on differentiated competition with leading companies, seek better business opportunities in new application fields like Huawei, special and niche fields, and international markets, and proactively avoid joining the cycle of internal competition and internal competition later.
The meeting stated that the production, supply, and market application of high-speed copper cable in the Yangtze River Delta region hold a significant share and influence nationwide, and have gathered a large number of leading enterprises and a complete industrial chain and ecosystem. However, in comparison, the Yangtze River Delta region is less enthusiastic and active in the “high-speed copper cable” process compared to the Pearl River Delta. The meeting also called on production and supply supporting enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta high-speed copper cable sector to adopt a collaborative and win-win development mindset, effectively leverage the advantages of manufacturing entities, seize the series of opportunities brought by high-speed copper cables, and participate in the orderly competition in the global high-speed copper cable market.

Before the event, under the leadership and explanation of General Manager Zhang Hui and Deputy General Manager He Wenxuan, all attendees toured the Jingyingda Automation | Jingying Intelligent headquarters, new product showroom, and manufacturing workshop, highly praising the company’s professionalism and leadership in fields such as ultra-fine coaxial cable complete sets and medical/high-frequency high-speed electronic cable complete equipment for automotive wires.
During the event, in-depth discussions, exchanges, and comparative analyses were also conducted on the “foaming” and “lotus root” characteristics of fluoroplastics.

Suzhou is a cultural city with a rich history spanning 2,500 years, teeming with Jiangnan culture and intangible cultural heritage. Hengjing Distilled Liquor has also left a significant mark in Jiangnan’s history. During a break in the meeting, everyone was also invited to visit the nearby Wujing Distillery Cultural Hall to observe the traditional brewing techniques and cultural heritage history of the intangible cultural heritage “Hengjing Shaojiu.” Chairman Guo Xiaobo warmly received and accompanied the visit, personally introducing and tasting the wine. According to reports, “Hengjing Shaojiu” relies on its production techniques, adheres to traditional intangible cultural heritage brewing methods, inherits millennia-old brewing techniques, continuously innovates industrial technology, and is committed to inheriting and promoting Suzhou’s Jiangnan culture.
